Ever since the 2.006 update my monitoring software shows the second GPU not being utilized at all.  Before the update the cards were worked comparably, but now just one card works while the other shows 0-1% utilization.

I've checked that SLI is running and that the game option "Multiple GPU Support" was selected.  I double checked all nVidia profiles and 3D settings for SLI and all are enabled.  Still no change.  I even went as far as starting the game via the IL2 Launcher and selecting the "Multi GPU Support" option there.

Is there any reason why the second GPU isn't being used now?

Not working for me either, I think it`s a bug.

It's not a bug, the only SLI Profile available for IL2 BOS in the drivers is made for DX9.

We have to wait nVidia for the DX11 Profile. I tried to set some existing profiles in nvidiainspector without luck (graphic glitches).

How long will it take nVidia to release this?

Same here, tried without success.

Both my 970s show 100% utilization when in game using the Nvidia Inspector profiles.  I run Triple-Screen Surround with a custom Inspector profile.  I've attached screenshots and my exported Nvidia Inspector profile below.

Note that I'm still on an older driver version (368.81).  CLoD can be a bit sensitive about driver versions so I tend to wait a while before upgrading.  So it's possible something with the older driver allows SLI to work and/or it has to do with my using surround....so try my settings but YMMV.

Anyway...hope this helps others...

One minor clarification...my 970s show 100% at the main menu screen only (the spinning plane tends to be a GPU hog spanned 5926x1080 across three screens).  In game both GPUs average between 40-60% and track nearly identically when I monitor them.

Are you sure that is still working after the update? That is the bits for dx9. You have no bits enabled for dx11 unless I am missing something

Crap, I forgot about that. Clod worked with one driver but not the other. Don't remember versions. But yes, this did happen. Now I gotta find that ancient thing.

Yeah I was wondering about that myself.  All I know is that I see GPU and memory utilization on both cards.  Gonna enable the SLI test bar today and see if that shows activity as well.

I can definitively say the second card does NOT show any GPU activity if I make changes to the profile I uploaded.   Still testing....

I'm pretty sure the 2nd GPU will always have a minimum utilisation of 40% whether it is getting used in SLI or not.

I use riva tuner in game and it shows utilisation on the fly. It will also say if the cards are synchronised in SLI. I have tried a few profiles which caused SLi to be engaged, most result in screen flickering, all result in lower overall frame rate.

I'd bet there is one profile that already exists that would work with it but I'm not going to go through the whole list when it's working very well now anyway.

Actually, it will not.  When I change the profile the 2nd GPU is at or near zero.  With the profile (or without...more on that in a sec) I get an almost mirrored utilization between GPU 1 and GPU 2.

So I think what I am seeing is related to NVidia Surround, not SLI performance.  Why?  Because if I completely remove the profile, I get the same performance and behavior as I do with the profile.  If, however, I alter the profile to try to include DX11 Compat bits and/or make changes to the profile SLI section I see zero utilization on GPU 2, the screen which is conviently attached to GPU 2 goes blank in game and my FPS takes a nose dive.

So sorry guys....looks like this won't help you.  :(

Any information on the awaited DX11 SLI profile from Nvidia?
