19//Moach Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) hello, so - here's what I mean: it's quite uncanny that the edge of the blurred-prop-disc is visible -- no other plane has this issue, as those textures normally reach 100% transparency at a smaller radius than that of the 3d mesh on the p40, it seems it goes all the way out to the edge without fading completely, and this we can see this hard edge. and if you look closely in the game, you'll see the rotating triangle sides as the disc mesh has fairly economical poly count (obviously, because was not meant to be visible) I reckon it's an easy fix - altering the prop disk opacity would probably take less photoshop'ing than my beautiful, gloriously artistic[citation-needed] demonstration above took to point it out other than that, it's one hell of a beautifully modelled plane -- many kudos! past claims of model inaccuracy were revealed on further research to have been mistaken, due to mixed photographic references of the p40-M and later variants -- the model is perfect, for a Kittyhawk (yes, the later Warhawk has the controversial longer tail thence discussed) Edited December 19, 2016 by 19.GIAP//Moach
