So, Track IR not working

Hi,

I've read through the posts, and it seems there are many, saying that people have Track IRs that stopped working.

I've updated the software to the latest version, I've updated the game list, I've gone into the config file and changed Old Track IR to 1, as I'm using the 3pro. The blue light does not come on when I start BoS. Cliffs of Dover and DCS work with Track IR without issue.

 

Why does BoS no longer work with older models of Track IR? It seems bizarre to remove support for a piece of hardware like this, especially when it runs on the same software.

 

In all honesty I've had nothing but trouble with Battle of Stalingrad from day one, but at least Track IR worked. Right now I want to try and get into it, but I'm not buying a new Track IR for something that rarely works for me.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a TrackIR 4 but use version 5 software; I haven't had any problems with it in BoS, What are you using?

Track IR 3 Pro with the latest software. It all used to work fine, full 6DOF.

I'm guessing that there is no solution to this then? I'm going to download the new update when I get home from work, but I am not getting my hopes up.

 

I really don't understand the logic of removing support for older devices that work fine.
