Hi all,

I didn't find anything on the topic so I have done one here:

Can anybody explain me the russians' bombs ? Because I can't understand why sometimes at low altitude they doesn't explode.

Always put 5 sec delay on Russian bombs if you want to drop them at less than 100m altitude.

Problem solved.

I've resorted to drop high, but I'll try that. Maybe different Fuses?

While there are a whole lot of different philosophies on bomb employment, and surely there must be constantly new ideas evolving,..

 

...the classic "take the largest bit of explosives available and shove it at the enemy with the largest possible distance between you and him" still has points worth considering..

The modified turret is the better of the two. It has a greater range of fire. Still uses the same gun.
