Joystick controls got messed up

Hello,

So I would like to start saying that I use to be playing without any issues.

Then I downloaded a program because I wanted to set up my alienware Track eyex. didn't work, so I unsinstalled.

Apparently some software messed up all my controls.

 

Long story short, I hit the defaults button and started mapping everything again from the beginning.

now something even more frustrating is happening.

 

I map a button, say my trigger on my joystick. The right name appears on the key mapping settings. But when I go ahead and get on a plane, the trigger doesnt fire the guns but instead turn off or on the engine.

WHAT!?

 

Exactly the same thing happens with all my other buttons. So I end up with scrambled buttons all over the place!!

 

Any one know what could be causing this issue?

I have resseted my laptop and all that...

 

for the record, I am using Thrustmaster t30000. The new version that comes with a throttle joystick as well.

I had this problem with my Thrustmaster T Flightstick X Hotas. But it happened only one time. So if it is the same problem, all you have to do, is, map the buttons new and then it should stay as you mapped it. Seems to be a Thrustmaster problem.
