6./ZG26_McKvack Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) Hello there! Today I will show you some WIP pics for the Ju-52 that is currently in testing and will be released shortly along with many other cool stuff! Taken from a Transport mission which is a new type of mission for the existing Generated Campaign which will be included with the Ju-52 release. Last pictures are during the unloading phase of the mission in the winter supplying the trapped German 6th army in the pocket. Fun and challenging missions! Regards McKvack Disclaimer: This is from a beta version and not final product. Posted with permission from developers. Edited December 13, 2016 by 6./ZG26_McKvack 12

6./ZG26_McKvack Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 wait...the Ju-52 comes with it's own campaign? awesome! Sorry unclear first post edited. New type of missions added to the generating campaign.
7.GShAP/Silas Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) Very much looking forward to flying a formation of these online. It's going to be pretty hairy! Thanks McKvack. baby.JPG Gross Edited December 13, 2016 by Silas 1
Urra Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Do the paratroopers get flash lights at night?
Asgar Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) not sure if that falls under NDA or maybe one of the devs can answer if possible. what's the order of the engines? for people with normal split hotas i guess a 1 2 3 setup would be good, we can bind engine 3 to the same axis as 1 and could control wing engines separately from the nose engines Edited December 13, 2016 by 6./ZG26_Asgar
Nil Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Thank you verymuch McKvack it looks gorgeous! They really did a fantastic job! you are so lucky to fly it! Flying this bird with flak , projector at night... how it is? must be very immersive!
Gambit21 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Can we designate the number of paratroopers?
1CGS LukeFF Posted December 13, 2016 1CGS Posted December 13, 2016 Can we designate the number of paratroopers? No, it's just a single loadout of 12. 2
Urra Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Nice to see the 62 fps on the ground at night...(Top right corner of last screen).
Nil Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I hope we can unload the paratroopers on the ground!
Gambit21 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 No, it's just a single loadout of 12. That's perfect - thank you.
6./ZG26_McKvack Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 Nice to see the 62 fps on the ground at night...(Top right corner of last screen). FPS has improved a lot 1
Gambit21 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I hope we can unload the paratroopers on the ground! I'd love to be able to load them on the ground - but I know that's asking too much right now. I'm grateful that we can drop them.
Nil Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 So what will happen? I believe they will jump and die on the ground!
YoYo Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Great news! not sure if that falls under NDA or maybe one of the devs can answer if possible. what's the order of the engines? for people with normal split hotas i guess a 1 2 3 setup would be good, we can bind engine 3 to the same axis as 1 and could control wing engines separately from the nose engines Id like to know also. I have separate throttle for 2 engines, but no idea what will be with the 3th engine.
Gambit21 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I just map all engines to one axis normally. If I need shut an engine off due to damage, I'll do that with the keyboard. If I need to momentarily throttle one engine up or down, I imagine designating with a key will be simple enough.
Asgar Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 man, with the Ju-52 incoming, i would really love to get a live rearming and refueling system similar to DCS. that would make battles more interesting in my opinion. 1
Monostripezebra Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Oh, neat, i can see the cargo door open on the ground.. that seems an interesting feature!
VBF-12_Stele Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I seriously cannot wait; and neither can my five throttles. 1
Nil Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Oh, neat, i can see the cargo door open on the ground.. that seems an interesting feature! You can have 3 types loadout: Paratroopers Dropable supplies canister And Supplies cargo which you can unload on the ground by opening the cargo door! Oh my gosh this so fanstactic! They really spoiled us this time!
1CGS LukeFF Posted December 13, 2016 1CGS Posted December 13, 2016 not sure if that falls under NDA or maybe one of the devs can answer if possible. what's the order of the engines? for people with normal split hotas i guess a 1 2 3 setup would be good, we can bind engine 3 to the same axis as 1 and could control wing engines separately from the nose engines As it stands right now: 1: port, 2: center, 3: starboard.
Asgar Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 As it stands right now: 1: port, 2: center, 3: starboard. thanks, i think that's the perfect solution for most split throttle users
Nil Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 My most feared question: What about the brakes? do we have to use the throttle, or would it be automatic with the brake key?
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 thanks, i think that's the perfect solution for most split throttle users Actually, that is the least perfect solution I can think of... coming from a split throttle user. Nonetheless, immensely looking forward to the Ju52.
curiousGamblerr Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Actually, that is the least perfect solution I can think of... coming from a split throttle user. Nonetheless, immensely looking forward to the Ju52. I'd have to agree. I would prefer "1 3 2" so differential thrust could be used while taxiing the same as any other plane. This makes it less compatible with existing control setups IMO.
Habu Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) My most feared question: What about the brakes? do we have to use the throttle, or would it be automatic with the brake key? As we are under NDA, we can't answer, but maybe if a dev come, he will answer you. Edited December 13, 2016 by Habu 1
Asgar Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) so you want to bind your nose engine together with one of your wing engines just so you can counter the enormous torque of the pre-war engines durig taxing?? /s Edited December 13, 2016 by 6./ZG26_Asgar
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 so you want to bind your nose engine together with one of your wing engines just so you can counter the enormous torque of the pre-war engines durig taxing?? /s No, I want to keep 1/2 as my outboard engines just like they are mapped on every other aircraft that I fly. Maybe I'm missing the point of the sarcasm... I'm definitely missing the point that you are apparently validating. Is that really such an issue to you, Asgar..?
Nil Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 As we are under NDA, we can't answer, but maybe if a dev come, he will answer you. I see , I am sorry, thank you for this reply!
Cybermat47 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 soo....patch this week? The day after tomorrow
