Multi crew stations

Are they setup weird or is it just me? It seems like each slot has to cover two positions and can only switch between those two positions at least in the he-111. I tried to have my friends operate the bombsight in my he-111 while I piloted only to find that the pilot is only one able to go to the bombardier position.

 

I feel it would be worthwhile to have someone else in your plane be able to operate the bombsight. (I never learned bombsights just because I always had someone else operate it in earlier il-2 games including clod)

 

Although I'm glad multi-crew is still a thing because it means I get to drag my friends who can't fly or own a joystick into the game and have them in my plane.

Having a crew which can use the bombsight is something we ask, but which need time and ressource to be develop. So, we hope that it would be possible in the future.

I used the bombsight just last night and realized the bombardier isn't a position but rather a pilot view. The technological issue I could see happening is the fact the bombardier can turn the plane with the turn switch on the sight. Meaning the pilot and the bombardier would have conflicting controls.

Yes, you're right the control of the plane need to be managed, so, It's a multiplayer and network problem. That's why it need time and ressource to add that feature. But maybe, when they have time and ressource for that, it would be possible to have that feature. so let's hope.
