I thought the Fairey Battle was a nice choice.

Joking aside - you have to admire the RAF crews who pressed home the desperate attacks to bomb the bridges at Sedan after the panzers had broken the French front.

Damixu, the Finn Buffalo vs. the American one is kind of like the air force's F-111 and the Navy's F-111B. A proper aircraft, but once you sling all that carrier junk onboard it becomes a pig.
