Cozmo Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 (edited) Brief description: Just bought battle of Stalingrad and downloaded it from the site here. After the download and install when I hit play I get 4 entry point not found errors (see screenshots) and the game will not launch. Detailed description, conditions: I googled to see if others were having the issue and all I could find was stuff on SweetFX, which i'm not using. Restarted my pc just to be sure and it didnt help. I tried running and sfc scan now which did not help as well. I updated my graphics drivers too. Uninstalled geforce experience, no luck either. DirectX and C++ were installed at launch. Checked for windows updates as well. I uninstalled the game a reinstalled (as there was no verify game files button that I could see) on another drive just to be sure, but still getting the same issue. I have been trying to run as admin and it did not help. Additional assets (videos, screenshots, logs): Your PC config data (OS, drivers, specific software): Windows 10 GTX 960 i7 Latest nvidia drivers Edited November 29, 2016 by Cozmo
Cozmo Posted December 1, 2016 Author Posted December 1, 2016 Managed to fix this myself, this is a C++ error. I had to uninstall all C++ redists, then reinstall BOTH the x86 and x64 C++ packs. Never use Windows 10 folks.
