[RG]Flanker1985 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) Sorry, didn't read that post which came before me. Problem solved. By the way, may I ask why can we only get 72 hours per week?? Can we get offline mod like the old IL-2 so we can train ourselves, please? Thanks for any consideration. JimTM Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 No problem on your side. For this phase of the early access, the game is only available Tuesday to Thursday.
-MG-Cacti4-6 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Its part of the testing process (the limited access). I read somewhere that they are doing it this way to test stability and security of the server. It looks like it will be a stepping stone process. first limited access on typically low population days, then limited access on high population days, then full access once they think server stability and security is where they want it to be. Plus this allows them the time to work bug reports and test the new build on the server internally before releasing it to us. there is no dev server yet (and i dont know if there will be one tbh), Overall while the limited access makes me sadpanda, i totally understand why and think its probably the best way to test out a game of this nature

1./KG4_Blackwolf Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 We are going to get this topic every week I guess until it goes 24/7
[RG]Flanker1985 Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 By the way, guys. Since I missed out this week, can you tell me if LaGG-3's Trim has been fixed yet?? Thanks
Mags Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Harbingerflanker1985, No, not this week either, but there is hope for next week. For LaGG-3 that is. The Bf-109's trim is working fine. Edited November 30, 2013 by Mags
Sim Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Alright, what's the big deal with trims? No trims in RoF and no one is complaining. And yet I keep reading here how this is the most wanted feature and some people simply can't fly without trims?
[RG]Flanker1985 Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) ROF plane are very slow, no need of it. The air flow has little effect on the pitch. I won't complain if it is an I-15. But LaGG-3 is much fast, it is a pain in the butt to hold the joystick down all the time. Saying trim is not needed, obviously you are not a good or an experienced pilot. Probably one of those gamer, not simulator. I have met many people who doesn't really care trim that much, they are all gamers who play simulator on the least realistic setting. Edited November 30, 2013 by HarbingerFlanker1985
Sim Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) I didn't say trim is not needed, it's just that your question "is the trim fixed" make it sound the game is broken and unflyable without trim support. And what a horrible analogy with that gamer remark. Yes, only real pros know about trim tabs. ROF plane are very slow, no need of it. The air flow has little effect on the pitch. Nonsense.. please do try flying any a/c in RoF, especially Dr.1. Edited November 30, 2013 by Sim

And what a horrible analogy with that gamer remark. Which part of what I mentioned implies "game is broken and unflyable without trim"?? Of course trim will make flight more pleasant. It is also a part of plane's personality. The earlier we have the trim, the earlier we get to know the plane as a whole better. Edited November 30, 2013 by Rama removed provocative comment
