How to send a gift?

Hey I was wondering how exactly i can send a copy to a buddy of mine. The instruction on the front page don't really go into exactly how you do it in a screen by screen setup. I have some serious short term memory issues associated with my ptsd so stuff like this kinda has to get spelled out barney style.
