Multiplayer: I get a disconnect frequently

Hi folks,

 

unfortunately I get disconnected from server during flight. I've tried several servers, wings of liberty, random expert, and get kicked from both after 30-45 minutes without any warning.

 

Furthermore I get ping warnings during longer bursts (3-5 seconds).

 

I really like multiplayer missions, flying togehter as a team, but the disconnects really suck.

 

Can anyone help me?

Hi Dampf, I have the same problem as you

Good news: I fixed that problem.

 

It seems that the mp is very sensitive of the quality of our connection. In some game , bad quality connection causes lag (like the original il2) but here, we are simply disconnected.

 

I had this problem with my laptop which is connected by the wifi , I increased the download limit/upload limit in game options to the maximum

Somehow it was less disconnecting

I switched to ethernet cable then no disconnection problem anymore.

So, the problem was caused by wifi.

 

To fix the wifi, I changed the channel wifi in my internet modem : used a less used channel (I believe I had the choice between 11 channels in total)
