How can you determine your FPS?

New to the game and finding a steep learning curve.  I'm catching up, little by little.  Next on my plate is how I can figure out what my FPS is?  

 

I hope it can be done in-game, because I haven't been able to figure out how to view other programs while playing because, obviously, alt-tab doesn't work; and I don't currently have a second monitor hooked up.  Soon, though...

No in game, third party app (msi afterburner), nvidia shadow play or build in monitor osd option. BTW you can alt tab game to check fps graph but better is use osd all have that option.

Download Fraps and it will show in game, activate before launch,

Having an nvidia card, I looked into their fps counter, but it says that the game must be supported to use.  I checked the list and BoS is not on it.

Yes, works for me without problems. You need to enable the fps counter as an overlay (can't recall exact menu right now).

If you use steam platform, there is an option to indicate fps counter from settting/in-game.
