connection to master server lost

I have not been able to get on the game for over 12 hours.  Is the server down?

I had that too, then the message changed to something like, "please update".  Once Steam updated to 2.005 (about 6 hours later), then it worked fine.  It has for 24 hours now.

I have updated,ahave a complete new insatll,turned off firewall. and nuts i still can't get on to the game.  server connection lost???
