My apreciation for the extraordinary work being done by 1C / 777 can only be returned by acquiring their offers ( as I recently did with BoK and the two collector planes ), and sparing no words telling others what I think about this platform.

I agree that it's good to spread the word in a positive light, but without putting other peoples noses out of joint...

Your post just demonstrated that by saying 'this product is the best' very quickly had someone jumping in and claiming that their favourite sim is the best.

You have just started your bid to promote the game with a counter claim, that could be taken in good nature, but often quickly gets out of hand and could turn into a pissing match.

 

I never denigrate any flight sim, I have most of them and will promote all of them for their positive points, but also am not shy to highlight any faults... (they all have them)...

 

I will never state that this one, or that one is better or the best... simply because there are people out their that will take that as an offense to 'their' favourite game.

 

But, good luck with your promotion drive regardless...

Ah... but it feels so great to feel IL2- Bo- stoned...  

 

Anyway, I just started posting about il2 at AVSIM. It's a friendly place but 99,99% of the simmers there are primarily concerned with civil flying, airliners, fsx, p3d and x-plane mostly...

 

Bringing il2 was just a way to call their attention to alternatives, specially when flight dynamics modelling and overall physics modelling is in one's concerns when evaluating a flight simulator.

My only problem after asking for the creation of this sub-forum, which will serve both il2-Battle of ... and Rise of Flight, is that I have very little to say regarding the primary purpose of simulators like this, because I know very little about air war... and war in general ... but I'll try to use it at least to highlight the best features of this sim, starting with the physics modeling.
