My key settings are gone after update

Hi,

 

My key map settings are gone after latest update. it has default one now. How can I restore?

My settings get nuked after every update, anytime I commit the crime of plugging my USB hub into the wrong port, and every now and then JUST CUZ.

Thank you guys. restarting game fixed it.

This was a constant problem for me as well... what I have learnt to do when this happens is this...

 

1. do not try to re-map anything.

2. do not remove any of your joystick/rudder/throttle devices.

3. simply quit the game completely... restart the game.

4. your settings should have returned.

5. If this has not restored your settings, reinstate your saved joystick and input files as per Hans instructions... (you have saved them haven't you)

Mine was actually good to go this update(?!?!) so hoooooray!

 

The game usually waits until I am intoxicated to move all my axes around

 

Thanks for posting the link to the locations to preserve all the settings, I am going to write a backup/restore script.
