Muddy Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Is there a way to control or reduce the amount saved of these files as they build up very quickly? {in the root data file} I just dumped like 1000 of them and by end of week there will be very many all over again. Thanks again.
Sim Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 (edited) You can edit data/startup.cfg file and set mission_text_log = 0. I think those files are used by PWCG and Warhams Campaign Generator to provide end-of-mission reports. So if you use those tools - don't disable this setting. Edited November 15, 2016 by Sim
Jade_Monkey Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 I think PWCG has a setting to delete older logs, I assume it works. Check it out in the settings part of PWCG.
Yogiflight Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 PWCG doesn't sample these files anymore, Patrick changed this two or three updates ago. But these files can easily be deleted by holding the mouse button, while scrolling from the first to the last line until all the files are underlaid blue, and then delete them all with one click on the delete button.
Muddy Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 Oh I do know how to delete on mass., just hate untidy files. So it should not effect PWCG if I change this, I will try. Thanks
