Pruciak Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) What does this mean? Edited November 8, 2016 by Pruciak
Pruciak Posted November 8, 2016 Author Posted November 8, 2016 Sry had problems uploading, it should be there now.
Luftschiff Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) Hm. I am not familiar with the yak instrument layout but based on my limited russian I'd assume it displays the oxygen level/pressure, as adjusted for by the height (in kilometers). Not sure what, if any, relevance it has to the pilot in game though. Edited November 8, 2016 by Luftschiff
707shap_Srbin Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Кислород = Oxigen По высоте полёта - Level (height) of flight. В км - (in kilometres)
Brano Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 It is Kислородный прибор КПА-3 , in english oxygen device KPA-3. The left gauge on your picture (only half visible) shows the pressure in oxygen tank (usually nominal was at 150 atm, volume 4 litres). The gauge seen in full on the right is reductor, which pilot use to regulate high pressure income from pressure tank to low pressure hose connected to breathing mask. There is a scale for height of flight in km to know to set it for optimal pressure at given altitude.
Crump Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Interesting. Was it a high pressure or low pressure demand system or continuous flow? The altitude adjustment makes me think continuous flow system.
