Installation Directory

Tried PWCG some months back but never really got around to trying it out. I decided to install the newest version and it appears that the file directory structure of a clean install of the 64 bit BOS now is like this:

 

C:\Program Files\1C Game Studios\IL-2

 

When placing the PWCG files in either the 1C Game Studios or the IL-2 folders I get the message that PWCG is installed in the wrong directory. The original file structure (C:\Program Files (x86)) does not change if you just update as new versions come along, but if you uninstall and do a clean install it now goes into the location noted above.

 

Am I just missing something, or does the directory structure change cause the issue?

Given your setup ...

PWCG should be in C:\Program Files\1C Game Studios\IL-2\PwcgCampaign\PWCGBoS.exe

Your mission directory: C:\Program Files\1C Game Studios\IL-2\data\missions

 

PWCG looks for the mission directory as an offset from it's install location: ..\data\missions

It complains if it can't find it.
