Boomerang Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Stress is no good for anyone. A good joke, meditation, diet, or some good advice, can be a way of dealing with something that may be troubling. Best advice I ever had was: The truth can set you free! It's not a bad thing learning more about who we are as individuals, as this can assist us to become better human beings in our journey of life.
Feathered_IV Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Wow that's great. In the spirit of learning and sharing and growing and this and that, here's one that really helped me too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92i5m3tV5XY
Uufflakke Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Ain't it a good idea to add this kind of videos on top of every page in topics about the FW-190, FM and DM discussions of whatever plane? Perhaps it will prevent the outburst of the usual overheated comments. Okay, time to chill out now with watching a fish tank. 2
Aap Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Ain't it a good idea to add this kind of videos on top of every page in topics about the FW-190 A better choice for Fw-190 threads would be something like that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30ZICiVlWJM

kestrel79 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Running helps me, and playing sims. Nothing takes my mind off something like playing a sim, because it requires you to be fully invested and engrossed in the world of the sim.
Gambit21 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 I don't stress much, but I mountain bike ride on some nice Pacific Northwest single track, especially in the rain helps me stay centered.
Feathered_IV Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 You know how I deal with stress? You are still young. I know perfectly well how you deal with stress.
Boomerang Posted November 8, 2016 Author Posted November 8, 2016 Running, bike riding, all good. Fishing is good, especially at dinner time. Virtual piloting is something I look forward to, in moderation, music - a must
kissklas Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 When stressed, and I often am, I find therapy in vinyl records, walks, and the best of all; fishing. Sadly the last one I get to do far to seldom... Also, a nice beer helps. 1
IRRE_Centx Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) I never thought that a B-17 bomber could be relaxing. But actually it is. Discovered the concept of "white noise" few years ago, it's really efficient on me! Edited November 8, 2016 by -IRRE-Centx 2
Danziger Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Skinning is very relaxing for me. It's almost like building a model kit when I was a kid. I also play guitar and love jamming on some old school metal and classic rock. Not so much these days because every time I pick up my guitar the old lady finds something for me to do. Which is weird since she claims she likes my cool guitar hobby a lot better than my nerdy flight sim hobby...
Boomerang Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 Discovered the concept of "white noise" few years ago, it's really efficient on me! Bookmarked, thanks, Good ol guitar, love it as well, I'd feel out of sorts if I didn't play one at least once a week. Must be in the blood or something
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Heh, I thought I can deal pretty well with stress until I took part in major national exams for lawyers. Months of preparation and night before I just couldnt sleep at all. Thanks for adrenaline which kept me running for next few hours ...
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 My sky doesnt look that cool. Should I apply some SweetFx on my spectacles ?
Boomerang Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 Motocylcling is really good, blown the cobwebs out many times in the past, Star gazing, a good way to open the view. My sky doesnt look that cool. Should I apply some SweetFx on my spectacles ? Maybe we may just see Vulkan one day
Boomerang Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 usually im too calm so instead of ways of finnding a way to reliefe stress i search to cause it, best is racing in leaderboards, you can go insane like that, hey maybe its time to go back to it What ever you decide to do, look after yourself amigo 1
Soarfeat Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Guitar player here as well. Have an inexpensive Hohner classical just to enjoy the nylon strings and different sound but have had a 1968 Martin D-18 for many years ( good old friend ) Music is very subjective but some may enjoy this guitar piece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcYoqRqLr60 take care and drift a bit --sf--
=WH=PangolinWranglin Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 I play other games when I am stressed with games. (sounds odd, I know) I play Modded Minecraft in Creative or Peaceful mode and just go build factories and farms. I might also play Sky Rouge, or Superhot. Just easy, fun, simple, entertaining games.
Trooper117 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Get up on your knees and gallop flat out on a horse... that tends to put things into perspective pretty quickly.
Guest deleted@30725 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 The video from the OP explains why I sat in my bf109 on the runway with the engine off listening to the sound of frozen Stalingrad. Kinda relaxing.
unreasonable Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Buddhism is a good way to deal with stress, as long as you do not get too attached to it. Meditate and achieve Nirvana - there is nothing to it.
