No matter what OP wrote, but the kitten Spam is utterly pathetic towards the author of this thread. Too little of that on these forums. 1
II./JG77_Manu* Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) It's a little fun. Too little of that on these forums. Yep but your little fun is psychologically hurting someone else...but most people don't care if someone gets hurt, as long as they have fun i guess. Anyway..my 2 cents, i am out of this nonsense (to make it unmistakable: if i would be the author of this thread, i'd feel seriously attacked and angered by this deliberate dead-spamming - but i guess lot of people have fun angering people that have different opinions, hence my first post above -> just wanted to trigger an answer) Edited November 3, 2016 by II./JG77_Manu*

216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Europa League: Villareal equalised, SC Braga has made it 2:1 against Konyaspor, Shakhtar is winning 3:1 after a stunning comeback, Fiorentina (who have one of the most interesting football kits out there) is winning 2:0, and Ajax has made it 1:0 against Celta Vigo. Yet I can't shake the 3:0 defeat CSKA suffered at the hands of Monaco, things are baaaaaad down in Moscow. EDIT: Southampton have done it, 1:1 with 25 minutes to go! Always thought people from the minnow countries (in terms of football) are more interested in PL or La Liga, and not so much in their own league The Russian Premier League is actually pretty interesting, one of my favourites to watch compared to other major and non-major leagues. CSKA has had the same coach for seven years now and besides wobbly periods like now they play a beautiful game (see the two goals against Leverkusen for example). Zenit is a powerhouse and by all means in my opinion has been the favourite to win the league for nearly every year now yet other teams have managed to punch back every now and then. Spartak has got a strong core and are being coached by Antonio Conte's protégé. Rostov was set to be the Leicester City of Russia last season before CSKA overtook them and won the championship in the last round. Krasnodar is a joy to watch, particularly Smolov and Mamaev but the rest of the team is pretty strong too. Lokomotiv has the same old squad which gets the job done, and Samedov is out of this world. What I'm bummed out about is Dynamo having been relegated last season - usually when a city rival goes south I'm all laughs and jokes but this time it was just sad to watch. They deserved better. I could never be bothered about La Liga to be honest, it's been that same old two-horse race for as long as I can remember. Sure, Atlético have been shaking things up recently, but that asides it's just... more of the same, really. Expensive teams playing short-pass for 90 minutes. I have mixed feelings about the EPL - it feels like a game of FIFA but in reality, with teams buying shedloads of expensive players from all over the place who most of the time still play just as poorly as Joey Three-Nipples from behind the chippy. However, the managers this year are making this fun - to be fair I have only been following it because of Antonio Conte (who in my opinion is miles ahead of both Mourinho and Guardiola) since he managed to make that excuse of an Italy team nearly unbeatable, but Klopp has also turned out to be a joy to follow. Having a Chelsea team which finished 10th last time around steamroll Mourinho's Moneyball United was a unique experience. Serie A is an interesting animal - on one hand it's Juventus and the rest, but I think Roma can punch above their weight if they stop being so wobbly. PS: Also, Southampton have made it 2:1 to remind the world that for reason or another Milan is not even a shadow of the football capital it used to be. Inter have been dreadful this far, and AC Milan are not too far. Edited November 3, 2016 by 55IAP_Lucas_From_Hell

You just found another way this time How many times have you been banned for insisting the Dev's are bias against German aircraft and then resorting to insults? The way the engine limits work in BoS are definitely nerfing the P40, and they will also nerf the Spitfire.. they nerf most German planes as well, but amazingly almost no Russian aircraft. Intentionally? You decide I see you probably have another one coming with today's little gem Cheers Dakpilot

So while i don't possess the knowledge in aeronautical engineering, or the access to certain historical sources, at least i could point those flaws out, and make them more public and known in the Forums, which helped in parts to get the sim further to reality. While on the other side, you did nothing else then defending the status quo, all the time, coming up with dubious reasons, why this and that is right - which in the end all showed to be wrong after all. 216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) I can't believe I actually spent 20 seconds to find this... Anyhow, Shakhtar won a thrilling 5:3 game against Gent, Ajax came out victorious 3:2 over Celta, Nice had to swallow 2:0 from Salzburg, as did Krasnodar from Schalke, and Villareal lost 2:1 at home. We're a third of the way through the season and five teams have a genuine chance of winning. Conte and Klopp appear to be actual, animated human beings who enjoy their football. Mourinho? He's got himself up s@#tcreek without a paddle .

216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 If you pretend Bayern doesn't exist, it's a lot of fun! I'll see if I can make some time for it, thanks for the recommendation I do that with Serie A, Juventus is its own thing even though I really dislike Allegri as a coach, and the rest is a separate league which is highly competitive. Conte and Klopp appear to be actual, animated human beings who enjoy their football. It reminds me a bit of the Fergie vs Wenger vs Mourinho vs Benitez era, but with a more 'fun' feeling to it. Hopefully this will keep up. I don't know. Don't find it too interesting to be honest - however this Bayern pretend does not work on me. Tradition is nice and all but it's good that new contenders can waltz into the top flight if they do their homework.

Tradition is nice and all but it's good that new contenders can waltz into the top flight if they do their homework. To be honest i find it laughable. There are so many teams in the BL which got "artificial" help in the past, be it Bayern with the Olympiastadion, or other teams with big investors like HSV, and yet many (German) Bundesliga fans think it is the holy, unsullied island within a footballing world ruled and aided by sheiks and oligarchs. So if new teams come up, with a - supposedly - moneygiving patron, they get all the shit by "traditional" fans. I think Leipzig is the best thing that could have happened to make the Bundesliga more interesting again, only fair to gift the "Ossies" (former DDR) some proper football after they lost all their football with the wall, superb decision in terms of location by Red Bull.

Well said. And their transfer policy has been pretty nice too, 24 and under. As a result, Leipzig loves them, the team is pretty jolly about the whole thing and the league finally gets a shake-up.

curiousGamblerr Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Man I hate Leipzig for beating Dortmund early this season but you make good points Manu, it would be nice to see them knock Bayern off their pedestal since my own team has proven incapable as of late And it is certainly laughable that with enough money and homework they zip right to the top. For BL, besides BVB<3 and RB I like to watch Hertha, Köln, Mainz and Mönchengladbach in particular. My favorite weekends involve many hours of BL and Il-2. Champions League is a lot of fun this year too! I don't watch much EPL but am happy to hear about ManU failures. Mhki left BVB on a bad note (mostly his agent's fault but still) and I'm always glad to see Ibra lose.

Mhki left BVB on a bad note (mostly his agent's fault but still) and I'm always glad to see Ibra lose. If Tuchel and BVB can keep up the same kind of pressure they had last year, combined with RB Leipzig's emergence, you might just have a shot at taking BM down. Ancelotti has been much like Allegri this year - winning games but stumbling and tumbling whenever the opposition turns up the heat - so this might be the year. So far I've been kept grounded by all sorts of technical mishaps, mainly wobbly connection and an overheating GPU, but they seem to have settled somewhat. You know, here in Sweden you cannot go a day without seeing Ibra's face, honestly. It doesn't matter if in Stockholm, Malmö or a small city that can barely muster 2000 inhabitants - at every kiosk, every supermarket, gym or sport's shop, there shall be Zlatan Ibrahimovic somewhere. It can be a life-sized cardboard figure, a magazine, an ad or just an inspirational picture, but it's a given. They worship the man down here, it's crazy. Not even his misfiring for United or the retirement from the national team have had any effect on the fever. To be fair I don't blame him for United's laughable run so far, the whole team is rotten from the core. Mourinho insists on playing that 4-2-3-1 even though it isn't working for the team, then goes ape on the players for not magically making his plan work. The summer signings seem to have been made without any consideration of a system to make them work, and so far it looks like most players from midfield onwards are out of position. You did a great job derailing the guy's thread Klaus, with the old 'if they disagree, shout them down' tactic. Real text book stuff. Can't imagine where you picked that up.
