New pilot looking for group/squad

Recommended Posts

Hello guys!

Picked up this game yesterday and so far its been quite confusing, so I decided I would want to join a squad/group of people so that I can play/talk about the game with them, as it is very lonely on your own :P

I am 17, from the UK and I can play lots. I would happily sit in peoples planes and be gunner, as I am still not a competent pilot and even just flying along with people sounds fun :)

Just message me on here or add me on steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ZorakTG

Thanks,

Zorak

Hi Zorak,

Whether you find a squad or not, I really recommend learning to fly in expert mode. You will be a much better pilot at the end of it. This forum is great for asking questions and has many resources and guides to help sorting things out. Also remember that the official TS server is good for finding people to fly with once you start to get going. I recommend learning on a simple plane like the IL-2 as it is rather forgiving and not too difficult to manage. Learning to fly offline may sound boring, but believe me you don't end up feeling like the world is watching your mistakes, so Quick Match single plane missions are the way to go until you feel you can start engaging enemy aircraft.

Stick with it mate :)
