Muddy Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Things like "Questions for developers " ,, well ,, over 2000 posts ,, what's the point, who is going to read all that?? How about refreshing after each upgrade ( -0- ) and people can ask new questions? It would keep things fresh and easier to track what issues are continually inquired about. just a thought.
Finkeren Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Questions For Developers is a special case, and I think you'd find very few people here who'd like to see that wiped out. Though maybe a solution would be to create a new thread every 3 months and move the old one to and archive? The "problem" (if you can call it that) are the threads about a single issue (often relating to FM, the Fw 190 or some combination thereof) which can expand to dozens of pages, where you really has to read most of it to be part of the conversation. However, that's what it's like sharing a cage with passionate geeks. Not sure what can be done about it. Wiping isn't gonna solve anything.
Muddy Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 Ok , yes maybe trashing is out, however some refreshing of some sort is in order as I believe some topics get buried and forgotten. 1
1CGS LukeFF Posted October 28, 2016 1CGS Posted October 28, 2016 The Questions For Developers topic would be a lot more manageable if people would stop using it to make general comments or questions about how to run the game, install it on Steam, etc. 2

Not gonna happen.
=EXPEND=Tripwire Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Moderators could/should delete the crap posts out of there though. I thought there were rules for posting in that thread?
216th_Peterla Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 They can leave Han posts that already come with the user question attached. Everything else could be deleted. 1

Actually I think this is an excellent suggestion, Han has cleared a huge number of "tickets" recently, this would make the thread much easier to navigate and see the progress. May I suggest that you suggest it to the developers in the questions for developers thread? We know Han reads that one (or someone does on his behalf), it is a racing certainty they will not see it here.
