It's going to inspired by the ROF Career mode, and AFAIK it's going to replace the current campaign mode.   There is a DEV update about it. Looks quiet promising.

No, I don`t since the Dev diary can be a little bit like a `we wish` notes and I don`t like getting my hopes up.  Hmm, I had the impression from an official email that the campaign was going to be a static scripted thing. But this changes a lot.

What are you talking about "we wish"? Very strange comment. The Developer Diary is informing you of what we are working on. We will have a Career that are generated missions that allow pilots to fly missions and gain rank etc. as if in the war. We will also allow scripted Campaigns that are static missions strung together to tell an interesting story etc.

I`m talking from 20 years of following gaming Devs diaries from all kinds of games. I got tired of being disappointed and stopped doing it. To me it`s a form of hype and I won`t be hyped for what might be. Also, I work- hard and long hours. I don`t have time to follow these things like an avid fan.

 

And your email blurb gave the impression it was just a scripted campaign, so that`s what I believed. please don`t make me dig up the email to show you.

 

Sorry to be blunt but I don`t belive in pussy footing. Now you may be different, but that`s been my experience.
