Default view incockpit in COD?

Hi,

 

I know we have only 3 positions avalaible (30/70/90 if i recall well) but that doesn't satisfy me.

Is there a way to adjust our own position, like in ROF or BOS?

There aren't any key avalaible to mouve pilot head forward/backward...but maybe editing a file?

If there is a file somewhere, wich one please?

Ok, i changed the "adjust FOV" key to other than "mouse 5", and now i can adjust precisely while holding my new key + mouving the mouse.

BUT can't save it!...each time i zoom, i loose my new FOV view.

Anyway to save it?

Fifi, are you using the new Team Fusion patch v4.0?  Amongst other things it now has a proper zoom function enabled as we have in RoF/BoS.

 

Works well too.

No, is not possible save new "FOV" adjust, only zoom in/out with key+mouse or (TF 4.0) keys/buttons/HAT (Options>Controls>Camera> assign keys for Zoom +, Zoom -).

 

Using NewView you can create and save specific "UView", like this different FOV.

There is a zoom feature now with infinite FOV in TF4.0.

There is a zoom feature now with infinite FOV in TF4.0.

 

This "infinite" (between minimum - maximum) remind me that TF 4.0 ZOOM dont have the psychedelic ZOOM out of vanila 'mouse+key'.

Yes i use TF4...But didn't explain myself clear enough, sorry.

TF4 didn't solve anything about cockpit view from dayone.

I'm not talking about zoom (wich is working fine) but about pilot head position incockpit (forward/backward)

Strangely in COD, they call that adjusting FOV rather than cockpit camera mouving head (as ROF/BOS/DCS).

We currently have 3 positions:

- 30 wich i find far too close

- 70 wich i find a bit too far

- 90 wich is way off

I guess i'm missing something around 50...

Actually, i can get the "around 50" by holding the key "adjust FOV" and mouving my mouse, but unable to save it definetely as default view  

Each new zoom or view change, i'm forced to go back to 30/70/90...

 

But as Sokol pointed out, and what i was afraid of...noway to save my new FOV view...
