Nocke Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Made some quick measurements of TAS in BoM and BoS for 300 and 450km/h IAS at 3000, 5000, and 6000m. Made linear fits for them, fitted the slopes as a linear function of IAS, from these I created a table of TAS as a function of height and IAS (attached). I was missing something like this for navigation purposes. I did it for myself, it could of course be prettier and more exact. And it would certainly be better if someone could come up with the formulae actually beeing used in the sim... I dont feel currently like putting too much work into this, but perhaps some of you may find it useful? I also did that because the values of TAS I measured in this sim do not agree with the elder table I found somewhere for CLOD, and they also do not agree with values I got from some E6B emulator ... And I sincerely hope something like this is not already floating around somewhere on the forum? At least I could not find it ... ... and even more sincerely I hope I did not mess up numbers at some point Cheers! Nocke 1
