Panzerlang Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 It's really not a trumpet-blowing exercise (no, really), but how many of the bretheren here have their names in the credits in the original IL2 manuals? I'm in two of them (toot toot!).
-MG-Cacti4-6 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Well, hopefully when i get my name in some credits it will be as a full blown tester or programmer. I am not worried about it at this point, but good on you!
=BKHZ=Furbs Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Im in the "Battle over Europe" add on for IL2. 1

III/JG11_Tiger Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 My squad did the Aussie voices for Pacific fighters, I stupidly didnt participate, cant recall why, but probably the family yet again coming before my own personal glory, damn it.
=38=Tatarenko Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) I'm in most of them and listed under Development Team in Forgotten Battles, which was nice. Just found my original beta cd the other day but I seem to have lost it again already. Edited November 28, 2013 by =38=Tatarenko
Panzerlang Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 My first beta CD got lost in the post, only to arrive a few weeks after a second one was sent to me. In a hundred years time they'll be worth a fortune. 1
Rama Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 listed under Development Team in Forgotten Battles,. listed with you
SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Well me and F19_haddock should be in the one in Ace expansion pack.... The one where our beloved J8a (gloster gladiator) was included.. Does that count?
SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) All haddock's work.. I was the one who spent hours and hours in books and museums taking photographs in cockpits, calling old gladiator pilots on the phone and just beeing a pest on haddock's tail if there was a detail wrong . Great fun though, especially the conversations with the elderly pilots.... They are all gone now a decade later... They were great to talk with "Can u remember what kind of reflector sight was installed in the Swedish J8." "Are you kidding me, I can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning".. Luckily they had a crapload of photos which i was allowed to go through as reference material... Man it was cold in northern Finland 39-40 Hehe one of them refused to call our russian friends russians.. Or soviets... " i called them bolsheviks then and i will continue to call them that" .. Oh dear : Edited November 28, 2013 by F19_Klunk 2
BlueHeron Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 My wife did the female pilot voice add-on for Il-2, but no credits listed.
Pierre64 Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I was credited in the original Il-2 Sturmovik and don't remember why
Bussard_x Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I was listed as beta tester, still have the cd pitty that I can not install any more.
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 My squad did the Aussie voices for Pacific fighters, I stupidly didnt participate, cant recall why, but probably the family yet again coming before my own personal glory, damn it. that's like saying I was at the war but I missed it. lol
