Bando Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Are these flags representing the wind truely? I mean when flying on the calm weather missions, the flags are fully stretched in the wind where there is supposedly not much wind at all. Don't know if this is the right expression, but I hope I make sense. Anyway, I agree with Fifi, it's a lot better than nothing and there's plenty of time to make it "real". Glad it's there in the first place.
Fifi Posted December 25, 2013 Author Posted December 25, 2013 Are these flags representing the wind truely? Hmm...they're supposed to...but you're right they are flapping even in calm wind mission... On other hand, in this mission, we don't know exactely the wind force...maybe it's not really zero wind? Anyone noticed a difference in those flags between calm wind mission, and full cross wind mission?
1./KG4_Blackwolf Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Maybe a Wyoming Windsock would do. I don't think anyone caught this. I will look for low flying trains! Funny stuff. The red flags are a nice touch, how about blue for Germans? 1
HeavyCavalrySgt Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 I noticed that although the flags were blowing pretty straight out, smoke didn't seem affected by the wind. Either there is very localized weather by the flags, or not all the pieces are working together just yet.
=Xone_96=Allen_and_Heath Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 or even a flag blowing in the wind. Since last version you got a big red flags waiving on the wind! Do we need an even bigger sign for wind direction? BR AND MERRY CHRISTMAS
