Today, I tested a deactivated static block. Turns out they are funny, they show up in game, but don't take damage. It's also possible to fly through them :D

I didn't yet test with a fake block, but I guess the end result is the same.

Interesting. I would just be happy if the mission editor didn't crash every 15 minutes for unknown reasons. Memory leak?

An update to this. I recently tried to work around the problem that setting Country for a block doesn't work when mission is running. What I did was I placed two blocks (hangars in this case) to the exact same positions, had a linked entity in both, then disabled the German one. Then set up a trigger that when the Russian hangar was destroyed, it enabled the German one for a couple of seconds during which the German one received Damage: Complete command. Didn't work. The German hangar stayed intact. :(

Thanks! That's way in the back of the "novel", I'll take a look. Noticed it crashes most if I click on full screen. (This is for 4K monitors.)
