Tried that and still is very stiff.

Somehow the FF file got corrupted, is it possible to edit it?

Here is my superstitious startup.  Before starting game bring the stick off center.  I bring mine to the bottom right position.  Start game.  When you are spawned in, go back back to center.

The Alt-Tab does work also, but when I use it I always take the stick back off center before going back into the game.

I think they may have addressed these issues in 2.004.

Nope. I think it's just the fact that there's no driver for this stick in Win7 and beyond. Luckily stick is working most of the time...

Ya, it's still there.

Sometimes when my FFB2 stick isn´t behaving like it should I take my hand off and go into the control options but I don´t change anything.

After that I just leave the options - if you don´t move the stick before you are actually in control of the plane again the stick works fine for me most of the times.

Otherwise I repeat my procedure.

One more thing that was posted somewhere around here was to try the FFB stick with another USB port (2 instead of 3 or the other way around)

I´m also on Windows 10.

Or maybe the simplest of all solutions - have you tried turning the force down in the options?

We shouldnt have to be doing any sort of stuff to make them work.

My joystick sometimes doesnt have force feedback in the pitch forces, usually happens after a fast dive.

Shouldn't, but it's always been the case even in the original.

In case it helps someone, tricks ive found for fixing loss of force feedback in an axis include visiting and exiting the control setup page, alt tab, removing power cord (not usb because that renders the stick useless until restart). If still not working a game restart is then required.

Usually visiting the control setup page is most effective resolution without exiting the game as you usually realise the issue has occurred when you are taking off and don't want to quit and restart.

Please tell us. :)

Most annoying thing for me is the fact that game crashes quite often when clicking "accept" in Keymapper or in Input Devices page when playing online. Not sure if this is happening less after latest patch though...

Are you running sweetfx or something similar?

I experience crashes when changing settings when running it, but don't have crashes if I am not running sweetfx/reshade.

No problems. Quick way to turn it off is rename the d3d9.dll (for example to d3_d9.dll) file for reshade in the game directory to something different.

Run the game, make changes. Exit, then rename the file back to "d3d9.dll" and your back in business.

known remedy to some FF issues is to hit escape then go to the settings, key mapping and click on tabs for example main coontrols, pilot head control, camera controls and then hit escape, escape.
