Ju52 loadout/weapons mod suggestion

So far we have had cargo drops and paratroopers and all of the usual and obvious stuff, but reading this article http://hlrgazette.com/2011-articles/143-april-9-2011/1480-flying-the-junkers-523m-at-stalingrad-.html it becomes clear that we need a weapons mod as well. Please Jason, may we get this...?

Once I heard of a gunner who ran out of ammunition, and in desperation threw toilet paper at the Russian Yak, and the Russian was frightened away by it!! The Russians did not know what toilet paper was, so this pilot probably thought the gunner was throwing a bomb at him.

Cheers.

If I remember correctly someone here said that the whole interview is fake. But yes we need toilet paper in the Ju-52.

Ju52 loadout/weapons in game will be two Lugers for the pilot and copilot toilet paper because you are going to get the **** scared out of you flying online,

Other add/ons for online flying is rations consisting of canned sauerkraut/knackwurst and chocloate. One bottle of Schnapps not to drink but to pour on your

wounds seeing will be shot up all the time online.

There will be no parachutes unfortunately to ensure pilots deliver supplies to bases in the online war or dogfight servers or die trying.

A Bible will also be included in the online version so you can pray on your way bringing supplies and pray on your way back.

Some flights were really long, so yeah, TP is a must.

Who said you will have to fly into enemy land? ... there are missions in multiplayer where big planes can fly and land in friendly territory as supply mission. And it was really nice and even being attacked was rare. Stuka is not something that can fight back or survive for a long under fire and still it's possible to fly into enemy land, bomb something and come back.

Even a short flight will take forever in a Junkers 52 ... so maybe a case.

TP is nice to have, but you'll just get wiped out in the end.  :(

Indeed. And you don't want to leave any nasty skid marks after a dodgy landing.

The Junkers needs some presets like a loadout named "ammo", "fuel" and "spare parts". Also, TAW or some other server could try have a Winter 1942 Stalingrad 24/7 server, where the Germans only mission is to keep flying supplies into the Kessel, with Junkers 52s carrying slightly more than Heinkels, as well as bombing Russian frontline airfields to make it harder for them the intercept. The map should end after 14-15 weeks of the air bridge(the Germans have held out and will be relieved soon), or if the number of supplies drop too low(the Germans freeze, starve, run out of ammunition, run out of fuel and have all their equipment break down due to a lack of spare parts, and thus get overrun). Additionally, points should be awarded for bombing artilery, tanks and other enemies on the front, and for bombing factories, railway stations and airfields.

Hopefully, such a server will finally draw the me109 pilots into escort roles, instead of free hunting at 5000 feet all the time. Furthermore, if the number of supplies drop, the Germans would lose ground(troops being overrun or forced to pull back after running out of supplies) and airfields(shut down after running out of fuel, and then being cannabalised for parts). If TAW or another server could pull this online war off, that server wiuld probably quickly become the best BOS server.

lol weapons for a JU52? the best defensive armament for a JU52 is a squadron of BF109s, lots of clouds or the cover of night. Anything else and you're kidding yourself. Otherwise, take a JU88 or H111 :)

While you´re right.. you must be kidding yourself if you think the He111 is any more survivable on it´s own... ;=)

lol oh no mate. My only real defense against fighters is other friendly fighters (not often) or doing long roundabout missions where I attack for a direction they're not really expecting...then hit the dirt and run like hell!! ha ha. the defensive armament on the H111 is laughable.

Apart from a stack of toilet paper we must have cargo loads of differing weights so that the poor old Tante Ju isn't condemned to lugging two and a half tonnes everywhere. Seats with passengers would be nice too, but no parachutes for VIPs!

Cheers.

Same case for He111 or Ju87 or ju88

Russians knows that...

Each ride on those birds alone is suicide, so no difference with ju52

At least it is  my favorite aircraft with the dc3 family! (and the po2)

Thus a mg131 and some toilet paper (if we poo in ourselves!) are most welcome.

At least, we will be clean when we die!

maybe we will get it... one day!

What about paradrops into Stalingrad? did the Luftwaffe do those?

Yup, supplies were dropped by chute, but eventually the German positions was ringed by flak so your chances of getting in and out would have been slim to say the least.

And then there were the fighters of course.  OMG, what a nightmare.

I really love this aircraft but it remind me of a quote from a documentary about the PBY Catalina (flyingboat).

I other aircrafts you have a watch to tell you how much time you have been flying. In the Catalina you have a calender

I feel the same way when I fly Ju52 missions off-line ;)
