Hi everyone,

 

These non-historical single player missions are built for those who don't have a lot of time to fly and want to fly a quick mission that won't last more than 30 min.

There is a mix of planes and maps that contain content from all BOS, BOM, BOK, BOBP, and BON; so some missions may not be available if you don't own the appropriate plane or map.

Updated list above, forgot to mention the tank mission.

Also added the "Fighter - P40 - The defense of Zubtsov" mission which I had left out from the original file.

New mission, The bridges over the river T'ma.

 

It's included here separately and also in the first post.

 

I also made my fist video ever, a little trailer to learn the ropes of video editing.  (there are black bars because it was recorded in 21:9).

Yes it took me a bunch of hours, between learning the video editor basics and also taking the shots that I wanted to include in the video using the tracks in game.

I repurposed a mission I made for the Yak1 to be used with the Yak 1b.

 

This one will have a lot of air targets, so I suggest setting the ammo to unlimited and having fun.

This one will have a lot of air targets, so I suggest setting the ammo to unlimited and having fun.

Tried some of the others too. I've never touched the tanks before but finally cracked that mission after about a dozen tries. Too many things shooting at you to make a success of it first go. Excellent. Thanks once again - great missions  .

What language have you installed your game in?

 

I'll re-upload the missions with the locales just in case that was the issue.

And sorry, this is not "defend the volga docks" but "defend the oil tank reserves" and "eliminate the general"...the only two in can read...

Swing, try this:

 

Delete all the files in my missions that end in:  

 

.fra  .eng  .ger  .pol  .rus  .spa

 

 

I think that should display the briefings.

I Have check all the missions, i don't have briefings for "the bridges over the river T'ma", the two JU88 missions,"Frontline Patrol", "Surviving the Raid", "intercept transports", "the defense of Zubtsov", "defend the volga docks" and "cover the grain elevator"...All the other works fine...

Sorry, I haven't done anything special to them to not show the briefings.

It's the first time I encounter this issue so I'm not sure how to fix it.

 

Hopefully someone else has an idea of how to get it working.

Hi guys,

 

I had this before happening with some of my work but with the German loc. The thing is, if you use the game in French, the missions have to have the French loc (French translation done) other wise it womt show up.

 

Swing if you change the game lenguage to English you should be able to see all briefings. If that doesn't work, I am out of ideas.

New mission with the IL2 1943 focused around PTAB bomblet attack on Panzer column near Stalingrad.

 

Note: Both BOS and BOK are required to play this mission.

 

 

Just paste the unzipped mission in the IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\Missions folder.
