vx111vx111swift Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 For some reason I can not get the BF110 to tirn to the right from a parked position. What am I doing incorrect. On the runway for take off it works with rudders as it should. Parked position is a constant spin to the left. What am I doing incorrect.
-=PHX=-SuperEtendard Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 In the parked position you don't have enough speed (airflow) for the rudders to be effective, so the engine torque wins and you end up turning to the left. You need to use brakes on the individual gear wheels so you can turn (you need to bind them in the controls menu).
[CPT]Pike*HarryM Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Full right rudder and tap the right brake occasionally as it wants to drift left. You can also try applying full right rudder (yaw) trim while taxiing.
vx111vx111swift Posted October 1, 2016 Author Posted October 1, 2016 ok I got it resolved. For some reason the brakes worked on runway position for take off. But not in the parked position, I messed with the controls for about a 1/2 hour and have it working correctly now. Thanks again
LLv34_Flanker Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 S! You could also use braking combined with opposite engine power application. For example want to turn left, then tap left brake and apply power to right engine to turn.
