Ravcore Javelin (Gladiator OEM) review

Difficult VKB Gladiator appear in Amazom.de, for this will happens need a seller in Europe, what don't exist.

 

I see this 50$ of shipping reasonable (If I buy a stick in eBay will pay >65$):

 

- If someone buy in USA and send for you in EU the final cost will be similar to 130$, since there stick cost 100$.

 

And if you buy one OEM in EU will pay ~100$ (~90 Euros), or 30$ less. But if your trigger broke, as happen to some "heavy hand" people, wheres you ask for replacement part?

 

The big plus in Gladiator is Njoy32 firmware in PRO version (allow multiple configurations), when Flightsimcontrols sell Njoy32 standalone, firmware upgrade for PRO version was sold for 25 Euros.

 

Of course the ideal solution will be buy VKB Gladiator in EU for ~90 Euros... but we don't live in a "perfect world".

50 USD shipping (DHL) is ok IF I dont need to pay taxes (VAT) and customs which I doubt are included in DHL from China...

 

All in all one is really f***** if he lives in EU and doesnt have 300 euros for pro version of Glad...

In the first post do I understand the Gladiator stick to have the ability to lock the twist mechanism as does the Ravcore

with use of a short screw ?

In VKB topic in IL-2.ru forum this is suggest be one of this engineers, but don't see practical instructions about, e.g. screw size  and the internal pole dont have a correspondent hole for the screw:

I got my Gladiator from Amazon.US. $99 + £17GBP for delivery/tax, Amazon messed up delivery so waived charges, which was cool. I don't think even with the delivery/tax cost that its a bad deal, they are in stock:-

No shipping to CEntral or Eastern Europe even for EU countries.

 

Like I said. Only option is shipping from China and with VAT and customs its well over 130 bucks...

According to reports on the Russian-language forum, the Defender Cobra M5 electronics version v2.10 has appeared.

It has a strange controller and strange sensors.

From authoritative sources there is an opinion that there is a possibility that such electronics can be installed in Javelin (the manufacturer of Cobra V5, V6 (aka Javelin, Airrow) is same - Asian Games).
