Difficulty taking off today

Noticed I am having a horrible time taking off. Didn't have a bit of problem yesterday. And the throttle inversion keeps coming back. Seems to be set, then it has to be inverted again. Suggestions? Thanks.

Are you playing the same mission as yesterday?  I had some issues with the Lagg last week there were 1 or 2 that I simply could not play, others were fine.   I could control the plane as it seemed to have permanent left or right rudder all the time.  If I remember back I had the issue with free flight one.

I am having a problem with several different missions in the Lagg. I restarted the game and I was able to take off without issue, but the throttle was inverted again. ?? And then I tried another mission after restarting the game and the same problem happened again. ??

Known issue, reported in bugs. Just have to uninvert throttle, accept, invert, save - and all good. Occurs when restarting application, but doesn't change behavior so long as the application is running.

Well the unexpected control issue certainly showed me some different aspects of the FM. First move of the throttle slammed it wide open. Engine torque dragged me round in a circle with one wingtip scraping the ground because of the narrow track gear. Good stuff

You can just click on engine controls after you start the game and hit the inverted boxes off then on again and Apply. That saves it until you exit the game.

 

It is a bit annoying to find things broken like this and the LaGG skins that were fine last week but I guess that's software for you ... there'll be plenty more of that I'm sure as we go through.

 

Now, where's the Il-2?
