Here is a video of Mohr back in the Spitfire at an age of 97. http://www.aftenposten.no/webtv/#!/video/20152/slik-er-det-aa-sitte-i-en-spitfire 1
Lusekofte Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Yes Norwegian Spitfire pilots in service had a 1 to 5 chance of survival . They did ground support during invasion in France and onwards and was slaughtered by AA . So just surviving the war was a feat on its own. He played a huge role in Norwegian aviation after the war, shame it is only aviation fanatics knowing about him and his fellow pilots. RIP 1

The whole Norwegian wing deserves a spot in the history books. We didn't hear anything about their effort back in school. At least Mohr got a mention in the news after his death. Remember seeing an interview with him, where he said something like "You don't get into a Spitfire. You put it on." And in his Bergen dialect it just sounded brilliant. At least he will be remembered by some:)
