Gunsight adjust

Can gunsights be adjusted in the sim or not? There are keys that make it seem like they are, but they don't seem to do anything when pressed. Firing at proper distance is harder when you can't adjust wingspan or convergence distance.

The key bindings you're talking about are for tanks. Why would you need the set wing span? We don't have gyro sights.

 

I'm not sure but isn't convergence set by the ground crew for all WW2 a/c (as is possible in game)

In CLoD, you adjust the gunsight to not only the wingspan of the targeted aircraft (109 is 32 feet) but also distance. For me this is 200 yards (183 meters). This moves the width of the reticule so that when the wingspan touches the inner spokes of the wings of the targeted plane, you are 200 yards behind him.

 

This is the gunsight for hurricanes and spitfires, but German sights should be similar.

The gunsights we have right now were not adjustable for wing span or distance.

 

Now some of the gunsights could be adjusted in other areas (for instance brightness on the German gunsights and most of the Russian gunsights could be adjusted for bomb attacks), but that's not possible either (yet).

No, German gunsight (in CLoD) aren't adjustable, as IRL (BoB time). Spit/Hurri is adjustable like their real counter parts are.

 

So the question initially is, what gunsight in BoS/M have adjust for distance, wingspan?

 

Maybe the first will be Spit Mk.V gunsight in BoK. :)
