Campaign Not Progressing - 2016

Hi could anyone help me? I don’t seem to be able to make progress in the campaign. I’m on campaign one, episode one and I’ve done the first mission where youre high tailing it back to your reserve base due to advancing Axis forces. I have a tick for both axis and allies but no other mission has become available. I’m getting XP for planes but I don’t see my rank changing at all and all the other airfields remain locked. I’ve done the same mission 8 times on expert and have flown about 6 other mission in the sandbox and they are all still locked?

Welcome to the single player wilderness.  I've accumulated 76000 "points", flown more 109 missions than Hartmann, Barkhorn and Rall combined and, flying in The Ring of Death, there is still no end in sight.  For variety and a change of scenery, change airbases and look for ground targets.  As for rank, I'm still an Oberleutnant after all this effort.  But my Western curiosity keeps me going.  What, I wonder, lies at the end of this?

same here. flown the missions over and over. but it seems to just be the same thing. no actual campaing or storyline of anything. both on russian and german sides.
