Plane disappears below runway on landing

I created a custom mission to practise landing the BF109. The problem I have is that when I touchdown on the runway the aircraft disappears below ground level.

 

Does anyone have a fix to the problem, or a functional mission to practise landings in this aircraft?

I remember "fighting" a battle in Call Of Duty once and getting stuck inside a stone wall.  Go to the Tutorials section of the forum and look up the demonstration on proper landings.  It should help immensely if you have never landed an actual airplane..

I think I found the reason for this.

 

If I start in the ait it goes through the runway, but if I take-off first, then it works.
