Expected 2.004 Patch Release?

I remember reading somewhere an expected drop date of patch 2.004, but I cant seem to find it in the depths of the forums. Was it early October?

Black Six stated October. It depends on the bug crushers in the closed Beta at this point.

It's in Beta, but we have some folks finishing their vacations so it will be in October, just not super early in Oct.

in anticipation I've been practicing two point landing under the current friction settings. It's HARD but doable in most AC (with a slight bounce usually)

As always <S> 1CGS this is the BEST WWII era CFS out there hands down! Your attention to the community's requests is outstanding! You've got more patience than I do when reading some of these threads for sure! As a server host for over a year now I have only seen improvement. I am a super satisfied customer.

I was a little unsure how to interpret Han's statement in the DD. First reading I assumed he meant the update would be coming this week.

 

"we’re hoping to give you an important update on game version 2.004 next week."

 

Sometimes words from non-native speakers of a language can be used a little more 'flexibly' - so I was interpreting it as meaning:

 

"we’re hoping to give you an important update in/with game version 2.004 next week."

 

???who knows? We'll see soon enough

I'm pretty sure that Han was simply stating that we would receive some important news on 2.004 this week, that's how I read it.

I would love to be proved wrong however.

Yes although an update could be interpreted as a patch, not just news.

 

Either way it should be around the corner, so we'll be enjoying it soon.

I read it as there will be game update in this week - btw announce that information about update will be updated is nonsensical.

I think if it were the actual update, it would have been worded more directly, such as, "we’re hoping to give you an important update on game version 2.004 next week."

My guess... detailed info about the update this week in the DD; update itself sometime next week when we least expect it. Server Maintenance notice is the one to look out for.

As far as I know it's been in beta testing for a couple of weeks now so as long as everything is running smoothly it should be any time now.

Nah. They're releasing the first aircraft for BoK (Bf 109 G4) in December, so I definately think we'll get both the Yak-1b and the Auntie earlier than that.
