Spitfire12 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Hi, I've just purchased BoS and installed it on my pc. Whenever I load a quickmision and hit "start" the game crashes to desktop. After multiple attempts (trying playing on windowed mode, unchecking "read only" on game files), i've tried playing with the joystick unplugged, and it worked....... So whenever I try to fly with a joystick the game crashes.....Although the stick is being recognized by both windows(control panel) and BoS (Key mapping) I am using a Saitek Evo Force. The rest of my specs are: Windows 10 Edu x64 AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 Ghz GeForce GTX650 1x4gb Ram Any suggestions? thanks!
JG300_Paulus Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Disable the force feedback in the settings and wait for update. I have the same problem. I hope that devs will fix this problem. ROF goes right with FFB, so they have to fix it.
Spitfire12 Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) I figured it out today :-( let's hope they do fix it.... it's funny though because in the retail version there is a leaflet describing the pre-mapped joystick keys in the game, and the joystick presented is a Saitek Evo Force...... JG300_Paulus Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I checked it yesterday. There is no CTD in ROF, but FFB doesn`t work. We need new drivers for Win10.
Spitfire12 Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 It does work with other games like Cliffs of Dover
Father76 Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Yes please fix the force feedback problem. I have the saitek evo force and it was perfect with this game, so I also hope they fix this issue soon.
