I had to re-install this sim :-)

 

It was yesterday, after a clean install of Win 10 Pro 64 and upgrade to the latest OS version.

 

Heck - there is still no other flight simulator ( IMO ) up to the quality of physics modelling achieved in IL-2 BoS / BoM.

 

I had promissed myself I would stay away from Air Combat, but it's kind of impossible - after a couple of circuits I entered a MP server and ... well, was shot down in sequence for a few times - lack of trainning :-)

 

I also miss my old X55 Hotas. I'm using just a T16000 and Saite Combat Rudder Pedals. Unfortnately my expensive ELITE hardware doesn't work with IL2 :-(

 

I can't wait to get my hand on the promissed update for gear physics!

Indeed.

 

I am glad I didn't spend my money on an expensive airliner add-on recently released for FSX / P3D. I will probably spend it instead in BoK :-), although I had never heard of such a battle ... I'm a total illiterate in ww2 and overall War stuff...  Just know Afonso Henriques, the first King of Portugal won several battles to the Spanish and Muslims... He didn't use the A3, I guess...
