II./JG1_Kadin Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) A few question that keep coming up in my mind. -on Cylinder / off -sphere: Is it a "sphere" (balloon type shape) or a "circle" on the ground? -I have not been able to use the "object fired flare" activation. Is there a particular way to use it? e.g. needs to be OL to specific object. If not, how does the trigger detect the object that fired the flare. Does the flare have to be fired within the specific area or drop in it? -Are the entries in the Event filter: AND or OR, if you have more than one (non-conflicting) checked. -In the Object script list, the planes designated with a "c", used to be listed if selected but now they get deleted. Is this normal operation? Edited September 24, 2016 by KDN
PB0_Foxy Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 - sphere is a ballon type shape. If you adjust the altitude of the MCU; players may be able to fly under it without triggering it in contrary of cylinder who's going from the ground to the infinite - I've never been able to make the "object fired flare" work so I think it is kind of broken for the moment - I've always used only one entry in the event filter at a time. I will have to do further test about that but I would say it's an AND - In the object list the object designated with a "c" is for cockpit. Don't be worry about the fact they are deleted it will work anyway. By the way I had troubles with vehicles in this list but it works great with planes
II./JG1_Kadin Posted September 24, 2016 Author Posted September 24, 2016 Thank you for your thorough explanation PB0_Foxy. Much appreciated.
Menacing_Ferrets Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 (edited) object link a flare to a vehicle you then trigger the flare with a target link from something else i.e. a timer, check zone... any trigger really you can trigger the flare multiple times Do not try triggering the vehicle Edited September 28, 2016 by Menacing_Ferrets
