hames123 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 I have recently started flying without engine help, and thus, my engine often dies after a short flight. At what trottle do I have to fly the Stuka?
Asgar Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 If you want to fly without engine assist on, I recommend the info/stats page every plane has ingame. It has all the info you need. RPM and throttle settings and if i remember correct also operating temperatures. The same info can also be found in the pdf manual available here in the forum

=FEW=ayamoth89 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 lower rpm limiter back to 85% for climb and 75% for course. Check temps amd rads expecially in winter time long dive

Plesski Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 I had exactly the same problem. What you need to realize is that stuka engine is slightly more manual than those of 109 and 190. You should bind two additional keys: for increasing and decreasing RPM. Revolutions per minute can be changed both by throttle and your propeller blades angle. Those additional keys will change propeller, which will change RPM without changing throttle. As far I remember you will need 1.2 ata and 2450 rpm for climb and 1.15 ata and 2100 rpm for level flight. Also remeber you will damage Stuka engine if you change throttle too fast. Y.
