Romanian and Hungarian Air Force squadrons in PWCG

Recommended Posts

Hello Pat,

The air forces of allied Germans were present at Stalingrad in the battle.

Why not  add squadrons Romanian (Bf109 E, He 111) and Hungarian (Bf109 F4).

Thank you for the superb work PWCG.

I would like to see this done as well :salute:

That will need voice packs for any different country introduced... is that even possible?

Does Italy have its own voice pack?  I don't think that they do.  You get German.

Within PWCG they would get a "fake" country code assigned.  When the mission is created that country code gets translated to one the game understands - in this case, German.  The game doesn't know that the planes are anything other than German.

Adding a new country is not a trivial exercise.  Each new country needs names, ranks, medals, pictures, etc.  I can see this happening in time but probably not in the short term.

Per my last post - if I can get help I will add in a nation.  It is mostly graphics

Medals

- Images per PWCG requirements (the medal with the PWCG background)

- Criteria for medal awards

Ranks - no more than 5.  PWCG only supports 5 ranks.

Pilot photos - at least 30.

Names (Romanian only, I have Hungarian names in PWCG already).   At least 50 firs and last names.

Squadron.

- Just 1 or 2.  If two then please 1 fighter and one not a fighter.

- Planes flown by the squadron

- Skins for the planes with the appropriate national markings.

If somebody is interested enough to provide these materials I will do the rest.
