Performance of the Allison engine of the P-40E

More problem P-40 in BOS got probably with wing polar then with engine settings. According to VVS data and flight test P40E got 19 sec turn time at 1km so little better then 109 F4. In BOS is opposite. Im no wonder if BOS P40 got only 14 deg critical angle if attack and very low cl max

I wish there was a community here as Vocal as the 190 community about their "porked" FM. 

Anyways, do you know where to find the Soviet Comparative Tests? I have seen them, but don't know where to find them anymore.

While I agree the both the physical model as well as FM of the P40 is off, the engine also is not doing what it should.

That's disappointing, the P-40 is a good bird but it really under-performs in-game. I hope they'll give it some attention someday.

 

I'm not really concerned about turn time though because I can turn with a 109 at full power, what I want is a better engine model. With the current model it's nearly impossible to use it without killing yourself in a fight.

 

People on the forums have brought evidence that it could take much more than it does in-game yet it still hasn't changed.
