Jokes aside, the PTO is going to be my most played arena, I'm extremely fascinated by the air war in the pacific, and more so, I am deeply happy at this move to the Pacific.

Going to be in my Wildcat at most opportunities in online matches unless player numbers need balancing, then I will fly (happily) a Zero.

And for all the haters about going to the pacific and flying the 'ugly" wildcat...oh well lol.

People think this plane is ugly too

I red something about zero planes, I think it may be hard to balance it since zero had good engine but it was paper plane :S

Yes the IJN get all the attention, but the Zero is the plane for Midway , if we gotten New Guinea the KI 43 would have been the ideal plane. Personally I cannot understand why we would not get New Guinea and China before Okinawa .

It will be a progress ensuring more scenarios before we get to the end of the war

Personally I'm more excited about Okinawa than I am of Midway, both will be great however. I hope we get New Guinea so I can get a Jug and hopefully a B-25.

I agree though that it will be great to fly the wildcat. I can't wait.

Just give me an A6M2-21 and D3A1, and I'll be happy.

Until my fueltanks explode because someone looked at me

Finally, someone who thinks that way.

I would like to ask you why. What makes you excited for Okinawa? I ask in all honesty, because I simply can't see much of any appeal to it.

I am hoping it will get real land battle that we could see, beach landing, infantry and stuff :]

really want a Ki-61 in my hangar. That plane has always been a favorite of mine.

Pilots mistook it for a Messerschmitt Bf-109, unsurprisingly. It was then mistaken for an Italian design, similar to the MC.202 - again, unsuprsingly - which led to it receiving the reporting name 'Tony'.

It was the only mass-produced Japanese fighter to use a liquid-cooled inline engine, namely the Kawasaki Ha40, which was, unsurprisingly, a licence-built Daimler-Benz Db601Aa.

Also, Hien. One of my favorites :)

A supposed one o nine that thankfully has nothing to do with one o nine except for engine, first Japanese fighter to introduce a full protection, first to be able to follow American fighters in dives. And it simply looks great !
