1CGS LukeFF Posted September 18, 2016 1CGS Posted September 18, 2016 Is there any documentation available that shows what sort of convergence settings were used for the wing-mounted guns on the Il-2? I have plenty of data for German planes but nothing for Soviet aircraft.

Trooper117 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 So, when I did this and put out similar info from my books, the fun police were straight on my back about copyright etc... different rules over there?
Matt Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) The only thing i read about this was from a German source (evaluation of captured planes) and they mentioned a convergence of 1000 meters for the cannons on ground attack planes like the Il-2. And iirc, it was 300 meters for modern fighters (starting with Mig-3) and 200 meters for older fighters (up I-16). Edited September 19, 2016 by Matt 1
