Nicolas7507 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 So I tried to get the campaign done by using the autopilot, but the plane is always crashing In the missions the plane is only flying circles after a while or the mission isnt finished when the plane is parked at the end. How does this work? Am I doing something wrong?
LLv24_Zami Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Why are you doing that? Unlocks are gone 1
Nicolas7507 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Really? Can you explain that to me please? I dont have the Premium Edition
BraveSirRobin Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Really? Can you explain that to me please? I dont have the Premium Edition How many aircraft are you allowed to fly?
Nicolas7507 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Only the BF109F and the LaGG 3
BraveSirRobin Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Ok, it looks like you have the basic version. You still have to grind through the unlocks. I'm not sure if you can still use the Autopilot to do that, but I'm sure someone here knows. Edited September 17, 2016 by BraveSirRobin
=WH=PangolinWranglin Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 It is possible but really only feasible with bombers. I tried it (played as a gunner on the Pe2 and left auto-pilot on while I had fun gunning) but 7 times out of 10 you will get shot down or crash. The only thing the current AI can do effectively is land and take off.
Nicolas7507 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 I understand. Well I have to get the bombers then ;D
Sokol1 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Is viable use Autopilot only for fly through waypoints, the "action" you need do yourself. To speed up the proccess: - Do only short missions (without take-ff/landing) - they worth less points, but take less time, what mean in time you do a "full" mission you do 2/3 short. In "long" missions sometimes you are killed by triggered AI when landing... -Accept only ground attack mission, reject the others, as well night mission. To do this just cancel the actual and request another, after all is "QM". - If you plan unlock some bomber do this first, because the "leveling" make this difficult latter. In this way you unlock all "unlocks" in... "two weeks, be sure".™ I dont have the Premium Edition BTW - But if you have bough online - 1CGS site or STEAM - the STANDARD version you can use the "magical unlock" button in your account (website). Only if buy the DVD version "START Edition" (~10$) need do "unlocks". Edited September 17, 2016 by Sokol1 1
Nicolas7507 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Thanks alot Sokol! Do you mean the Quick Missions? and not the campaign?
ShamrockOneFive Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Thanks alot Sokol! Do you mean the Quick Missions? and not the campaign? He means the shortened campaign missions (with no takeoff/landing). Use the level autopilot to get you from point to point and then fly hands on for the rest of it. Might as well have fun with the combat. The campaign missions are substantially better than they used to be. Both in terms of variety of aircraft in opposition and in random encounters that you start to see happening along the way. I've had some epic campaign missions that were heart pounding from the start of combat to the time my wheels touched the ground (and sometimes shortly thereafter ). Others are immensely boring... although that does hold a certain appeal from the simulation aspect. Still, whatever your thoughts... if you came here to fly some combat missions. At least fly some combat.
Nicolas7507 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Thanks Shamrock Sure, I want to fly combat. I need to learn the game
Sokol1 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Thanks alot Sokol! Do you mean the Quick Missions? and not the campaign? Not play in QM, I mean that campaign missions are not "tied" - they don't require fly one for fly the next in the row - they are random missions, why I say that are equals QM. So you can play only the missions that you want, through the cancellation/request process. The condition for progress in campaign is accumulate XP points, not follow a "story". Even if though successive cancellations/request you fly exactly the same mission again and again (will change the place, TOD) - and can do the same for different planes... you unlock all stuff, as seems this is your unique objective - considering that your game version really require this (was is not clear).
