No_85_Gramps Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Okay, I added a second monitor to use for displaying and working with IL2 Mission Planner. So, BOS running in full-screen on monitor 1 and IE11 open to the IL2 Mission Planner on monitor 2. When I move the mouse to monitor 2 and perform any type of mouse click/scroll it forces BOS to minimize to the task bar. I searched around the forums but mostly what I found was info for a program that locks the mouse to one screen. Is there a way to make this work w/o resorting to running another piece of software?
HotPursuit Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I run the planner on a second monitor too and find it very handy. I try to plot all the stuff on the map before I take off so that I don't need to work on the second monitor during a sortie. If I need to click on the second monitor whilst in flight (to drag/zoom the map etc.) I first engage autopilot and then open the in-game full screen map (o key). With the map open I can move the cursor to the second monitor. When finished I click back on the main monitor and hide the map. This is far from ideal as I lose control in game and can't see what's going on however this is my work around.
SvAF/F16_Goblin Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 If you run the game in windowed mode it will stay open but it will be lagging until you click again in the "flight" monitor to bring full attention to the game. Highly annoying and you still need to engage level autopilot to do anything on monitor two.
No_85_Gramps Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Thank you both for the replies. I figure to do it like you mentioned HotPursuit. Tried windowed mode Goblin and saw the lag you mentioned.
